The government will return 85 billion hryvnias to pensioners: how to receive the debts.
According to inkorr.com:
The government has made a decision to gradually return funds to pensioners that have been underpaid for many years despite court rulings. This concerns a debt of almost 85 billion hryvnias, which has accumulated in tens of thousands of cases in courts.
Debt Repayment
The government has made an important decision to return the unpaid funds to pensioners totaling 85 billion hryvnias. This will ultimately allow for the payment of debts that pensioners have accumulated over the years due to court rulings. Now they will be able to receive compensation along with their monthly payments.
Conditions of Payments
Now the money will be returned along with the monthly pensions, however, the decree provides for an important caveat – debts will only be paid if there are free budgetary resources.
Pensioners will have the opportunity to independently monitor their debts through the electronic service portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, where they will be able to find out the amount of the debt and the terms of its repayment.
Improvement of Funding
The government has announced the payment of overdue funds to pensioners amounting to 85 billion hryvnias, which has accumulated over decades due to prolonged court processes. This new decision may significantly improve the pension funding situation and ensure transparency in the payment of funds.
It should be noted that this decision is an important step towards improving the social security of pensioners in Ukraine. The payment of debts can have a significant positive impact on the financial situation of many older citizens, as they will be able to receive compensations they are legally entitled to. We hope that the funds will be allocated in the shortest possible time, and pensioners will be able to receive their rightful money that they have been waiting for.
