The Ministry of Social Policy is preparing a pension reform: what will change.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is working on changes to the country's pension system. Minister Denys Uliutin during a meeting with representatives of the International Labour Organization spoke about a new model of pension provision aimed at ensuring stability and fairness in this area.
Key changes in the pension system
The introduction of a guaranteed basic payment for elderly people is planned, the restoration of solidarity in determining the pension amount, the transformation of special pensions into professional ones, the modernization of the accumulation system, and support for veterans. These measures are aimed at ensuring decent living conditions for the elderly and other population groups entitled to pension provision.
These changes are important for improving pension provision in Ukraine, especially amid the increasing number of elderly people. The implementation of the new model could significantly affect the financial situation of pensioners and create a fairer system for those who are retiring.
