The government has simplified social payments through Diya: who is entitled to assistance
As reported by 'Hvylya', Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Valeria Koval spoke about the simplified system of receiving social payments for families in Ukraine who find themselves in difficult life situations. Previously, the process of receiving assistance required submitting up to five different applications and visiting many institutions, but now the entire process is carried out online through Diya.

Who can apply

According to inkorr.com: Families that already receive one of the following benefits: state social assistance for low-income families, assistance for children of single mothers, or assistance for children in large families (the latter category is submitted only to the Pension Fund of Ukraine) are entitled to basic social assistance.

Important restrictions

Basic social assistance is not available if there are able-bodied individuals in the family who have not engaged in useful activities for three months, or if any family member has purchased property worth more than 100,000 hryvnias. There are also restrictions on certain amounts in bank accounts and on owning vehicles that are not older than 15 years.

Ukrainians have been explained how to receive basic social assistance through Diya. Using the online service Diya, families experiencing tough times can quickly and conveniently receive the necessary support without visiting numerous institutions and without filling out a multitude of applications. It is enough to be entitled to one of the payments and to adhere to important restrictions that prevent assistance from being received by individuals who can engage in useful activities or own 'excess' property.

The simplification of the process of receiving social payments through the online service 'Diya' marks an important step in improving the accessibility of state support for those who need it most. Citizens now have the opportunity to receive assistance more quickly and easily, which can significantly ease their situation.
