Ukrainian pensioners to have their pensions increased: new Cabinet resolution.
According to inkorr.com: Thousands of Ukrainian pensioners have been given the opportunity to increase their pension payments thanks to a new resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers. This document is designed to simplify the process of confirming the work experience accumulated in the past, making pension payments more accessible for those with significant work experience.
Problem of confirming work experience
Pensioners who have dedicated their lives to work often face refusals regarding the recognition of their work years, leading to a reduction in the amount of their pension. The new resolution aims to address this problem and protect citizens' rights to a decent pension.
Innovation of Resolution No. 562
- Simplified procedure for periods before 1992. Now periods of work abroad before 1992 will be counted towards the work experience if the pensioner is not receiving a pension from another country.
- Request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In cases where a citizen cannot independently obtain documents from another state, the Pension Fund will be able to make an official request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Retrospective review. The Fund is obliged to review all previous refusals regarding the recognition of work experience to resolve this issue.
Example of successful pension increase
The story of a woman whose 8 years of work experience were not recognized by the Pension Fund demonstrates how hiring lawyers helped her increase her pension by 15%. This became possible due to the new rules.
What to do in case of refusal?
Even in difficult situations, it is possible to defend one's rights in court, as lawyers point out. People have the right to receive pension payments that correspond to their actual work experience.
Thus, thanks to the new resolution, Ukrainian pensioners can increase their pension payments. These changes make pension payments more accessible for people with extensive work experience, which also protects their rights to a decent pension. In situations where pensioners' rights are violated, the law is on their side, and they can defend their interests in court.
