The government allocated 700 million for roads: which regions will receive funds.
Restoration of highways in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine has decided to allocate over 700 million hryvnias for the restoration of highways in three regions: Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on her social media.
The funds will be directed towards repairing roads in the frontline regions of Sumy and Kharkiv, as well as in Poltava. These roads are critically important for the movement of military equipment, humanitarian cargo, and the evacuation of civilians.
During trips through the frontline regions, we see how businesses operate despite constant shelling, people are holding on, communities are recovering.
Svyrydenko emphasized the importance of uninterrupted logistics in these regions, where even in the face of constant threats of shelling, active life continues. It is also worth reminding that utility tariffs for electricity have already been set for Ukrainians until 2026, but the preferential tariff will not be available to everyone.
Thus, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko confirmed the decision to allocate a significant amount for road repairs. This is an important step to ensure adequate transport infrastructure in frontline regions, promoting safety and comfortable movement for both the population and military cargo.
The restoration of road surfaces will improve conditions for business and connectivity between communities, which is particularly important in wartime. The provision of additional financial resources for road repairs underlines the government's commitment to support regions affected by the conflict and to create conditions for the restoration of normal life.
