The government allocated 500 million UAH for school buses: which communities will receive them.
Additional funding for school buses
According to inkorr.com: The government has made a decision to allocate another 500 million UAH for the purchase of school buses, particularly for communities located near the front line. The Ministry of Education and Science reports that these funds will be distributed among regions where there is a need for reliable transportation for children and teachers to educational institutions.
The main priority will be given to communities where school buses have been destroyed or stolen due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation or transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Furthermore, the financing for this initiative will use the remaining funds from the educational subvention from the accounts of the special fund of the state budget.
When providing additional funds for the purchase of school buses, the government emphasizes ensuring safe and convenient transportation for children and pedagogical staff to educational institutions, especially in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine.
This funding will be an important step in supporting school education in regions affected by the war. Ensuring safe transportation will keep education accessible for children living in difficult conditions and support stability in the educational process.
