According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine has approved a new Concept of the State Target Program 'Veteran. Work' for the period from 2025 to 2027. This was reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

Program Objective

The program aims to support veterans in job searching, retraining, and developing professional skills to help them adapt to civilian life. The main idea is to turn veterans into an important factor for economic development in the country by utilizing their experience and responsibility as a valuable resource.

Among the measures provided by the program:

• professional adaptation for veterans at all stages of returning to civilian life;
• the opportunity for veterans to search for jobs online, education development, and retraining;
• interaction between the state and employers through recommendations and standards for integrating veterans into teams, as well as adapting workplaces to modern needs;
• support for veterans in new jobs;
• coordination among central and local authorities, businesses, civil society, and international partners;
• creation of a monitoring and evaluation system.

Importance of Implementing the Program

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs emphasized that 'the implementation of this Concept will help strengthen the economic self-sufficiency of veterans, expand their opportunities for professional growth, and successful adaptation in everyday life.'
