The government redistributed 37 million for cashback: what it means for Ukrainians

According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine redistributed 37 million hryvnias in favor of the 'National Cashback' program, reducing funding for another program supporting domestic producers. This is evidenced by the resolution of November 7, 2025, No. 1429.

The Government of Ukraine allocated additional funds for the 'National Cashback' program by reducing expenditures on compensation for the cost of equipment and machinery manufactured in Ukraine. Now, only 163 million hryvnias remain to support domestic producers, whereas there were 200 million before.

Increase in the amount of assistance

Thanks to amendments to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the amount of state cash assistance for buyers of Ukrainian goods in the 'National Cashback' program increased from 2.4 billion hryvnias to 2.437 billion hryvnias.

The 'National Cashback' program supports Ukrainian producers by returning a part of the expenses for purchases of domestic goods.

Conditions for using cashback

Cashback funds can be used to pay for utilities, mobile communications, medical services, books from Ukrainian publishers, transport, as well as for charity and donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The possibility of cash withdrawal or transfer to other cards is not provided. Balances in the account will be canceled after December 31, 2025.

How to activate

To activate the cashback, you need to update the 'Diya' application, go to the 'Services' section -> 'National Cashback', activate the counter, add a bank card for payments, and conduct product verification using the barcode scanner in the 'Diya' application.

Thus, the Government of Ukraine allocated additional funds for the 'National Cashback' program, reducing funding for other initiatives that support domestic producers, while simultaneously increasing the amount of state assistance for consumers of Ukrainian goods. These changes may significantly impact the development of the domestic market and consumer sentiment in the country.
