The government is changing the rules for defense enterprises: what is now considered critically important.
According to inkorr.com: The rules for defining critically important enterprises in Ukraine have been updated. The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has made changes that allow companies engaged in the development of defense technologies and innovations at their own expense to be included in this list. The requirements for the reservation of employees of such enterprises have also been clarified.
New conditions for enterprises
Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindratov noted that one of the new criteria for determining critically important enterprises is the ability to develop military equipment without state funding and to conclude contracts with the Ministry of Defense. This decision aims to ensure the stable operation of defense enterprises and support domestic producers.
Impact on national security
The introduced changes may strengthen national security and ensure the economic stability of the country by enhancing defense capabilities and supporting important sectors of production.
This step is important for the development of Ukraine's defense industry in the face of modern challenges. Supporting innovation and the private sector in this field can significantly impact the country's ability to respond to threats and also promote the attraction of new investments in critical technologies.
