The government approved changes for military personnel: transfers and medical treatment abroad.
Changes for servicemen and support for the defense industry
According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has approved a number of important changes aimed at improving the conditions of service for military personnel and supporting domestic defense production. Among the main innovations are the simplification of transfers between military formations, compensation for medical treatment abroad, tax benefits for weapons manufacturers, and cooperation with NATO.
Electronic reports and new opportunities for military personnel
Particular attention is drawn to the new possibility of submitting an electronic report through the 'Army+' application for changing places of service between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. Now military personnel can transition between different structures, rather than just remain within a single formation. Clear timeframes for the consideration of transfers have been established by the personnel centers of the Armed Forces.
Support for treatment and cooperation with NATO
The community provides support to military personnel who have undergone treatment abroad, and weapons manufacturers will be granted tax benefits for the re-importation of components. Additionally, Ukrainian military personnel will cooperate with NATO at the Joint Center JATEC in Poland to implement joint projects and introduce modern approaches to defense planning.
These changes aim to increase the motivation of servicemen and improve their lives during service. Cooperation with NATO opens new prospects for the Ukrainian army, contributing to its modernization and increasing the country’s defense capability.
