To all mothers of Ukraine. What Usyk said immediately after the victory.
Ukrainian athlete Oleksandr Usyk expressed his opinion after winning the rematch against boxer Tyson Fury. He mentioned that this day is very important for him, as his sons also achieved victory in their judo matches and told him they will be his next opponents. Usyk supported this and said that everything will be fine.
The boxer also noted to whom he dedicated his victory. He wishes to dedicate it to his mother and all the mothers of Ukraine who have supported him for many years.
Usyk's victory over Fury in the fight
Oleksandr Usyk again defeated Tyson Fury in a tense 12-round match and defended his belts as the absolute world champion. The fight ended with Usyk's victory by unanimous decision of the judges with a score of 116:112. The Ukrainian confirmed his status as the absolute world champion in the heavyweight division, defending the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO belts. This is already Usyk's seventh victory in this weight class and his fourth successful title defense.
