In Odesa, a mother and daughter committed arson against Ukrainian Railways facilities and military vehicles on behalf of the Russian special services. However, they were apprehended - the woman faces imprisonment, and the child will be placed in care.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, a 13-year-old resident of Odesa was recruited through one of the messengers. The curator promised a financial reward for the arson of objects and sending video reports after destruction.
Details of the case
The girl doused a relay cabinet with an incendiary liquid and set it on fire, but the fire quickly extinguished. Then she invited her mother to help set fire to a Volkswagen car. The suspects were detained, and investigators found material evidence in the apartment and at the crime scene.
What punishment they face
The mother faces up to 10 years of imprisonment under Part 2 of Article 113, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The girl was handed over to the guardianship department, where mandatory educational measures may be applied.
As a result of the cooperation between mother and daughter with the Russian special services, arsons of Ukrainian Railways facilities and military vehicles occurred in Odesa. Both women were detained, and they now face serious repercussions for their actions. The child was transferred to the guardianship department, where necessary decisions for her upbringing and rehabilitation will be made.
