According to Pavlo Palisa, now every military personnel has the right to an annual leave lasting 15 days. In addition, combatants are granted an additional 14 days of leave.
What types of leave are military personnel entitled to
'Previously, everyone received 30 days of leave. Now, for combat participants, this term has been extended by 14 days. This option already existed, but the state of war hindered its use. Now this rule is in effect',— explained Palisa.
New rules have also been established regarding the 15-day leave for all military personnel, as well as a mechanism for compensating unused leave days. Palisa noted that in the future they may receive another 10 additional days of leave due to personal family circumstances.
It should be noted that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, also proposed granting an additional 15 days of leave to military personnel. Details regarding financial support during the leave for military personnel have also been clarified.
