According to Espreso.tv: A devastating explosion at an ammunition depot operated by Ukroboronprom in Vyshneve has left nine people dead and dozens more injured. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for those responsible to face justice, stressing that

“every leader must understand that their decisions—or inaction—can cost lives”

Aftermath of the Explosion

The fire and subsequent detonations began on the night of July 6, causing widespread destruction:

• 280 residential buildings were damaged, including 253 private homes and 27 apartment blocks;
• Over 600 people were evacuated from the hardest-hit areas;
• The government allocated more than 3 billion hryvnias from its reserve fund for relief and recovery efforts.

The depot was not under the control of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. President Zelenskyy noted that

“everything was violated,”
