The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained how utility debt affects subsidy payments.
According to current legislation, if a household has overdue utility or house management debt exceeding three months and the total amount exceeds 680 UAH, then the housing subsidy, including for the next period, is not granted to them.
This is reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
At the same Time, if the household managed to pay off the debt or conclude a restructuring agreement, or if they challenge the debt in court, the subsidy may be granted within two months from the beginning of the heating/non-heating season.
If the absence of debt is confirmed only after the end of these two months, the subsidy is granted from the month following the one in which the Pension Fund received documentary confirmation of the debt payment.
Recall that the Pension Fund of Ukraine announced automatic fuel assistance for some Ukrainians.
