Ukraine to tighten requirements for exemption from mobilization: what will change.

Ukraine will tighten the requirements for exemption from mobilization. This was reported by government sources.
The government plans to tighten the requirements for enterprises deemed critical for the mobilization of workers. This decision may be made after an audit of the enterprises that received critical status after May 31, 2024.
One change may involve increasing the average salary for an enterprise to qualify for the critical status category. Currently, it is necessary to have an average salary not lower than the regional average. However, the option of setting a single minimum level throughout the country, which may be 19-20 thousand hryvnias per month, is also being considered.
The decision to grant critical status to an enterprise is made by the relevant ministries and regional military administrations (RMAs). However, violations of this process were found in certain regions, particularly in Kyiv, Lviv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions.
It is also planned to coordinate the criteria of enterprise criticality with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy. Additional verification of companies that have received critical status will be conducted to verify their fairness and effectiveness. If violations or manipulations are detected, companies may lose critical status.
Recall that mobilization and martial law have been extended in Ukraine.
