In Ukraine, the average salary for pension calculations has sharply decreased: The Pension Fund reveals details.
According to inkorr.com: Citizens of Ukraine can expect a decrease in the average salary considered for pension calculations. According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, in July 2025, this figure is 20455.65 UAH, which is 8.4% less compared to June of the same year.

Here are the data on the average salary in Ukraine in 2025: January – 18660.32 UAH, February – 18589.38 UAH, March – 19430.52 UAH, April – 19856.19 UAH, May – 20355.40 UAH, June – 22336.81 UAH, July – 20455.65 UAH.
Growth of official salary
At the same time, the average official salary in Ukraine increased by 17.9% in July 2025 compared to the previous year (17346.90 UAH). Considering inflation at 14.1% in July, the real salary increased by 3.3% over the year.
It was previously reported about Ukrainians who lack the insurance record to receive a pension.
In July 2025, a decrease in the average salary considered for pension calculations was recorded in Ukraine, although official data shows an increase. These changes may affect the amount of future pension payments. At the same time, it should be noted the positive trend of real salary growth against the backdrop of inflationary processes.
