Ukrainian Farmers Compensated for Land De-mining: How to Obtain State Support.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine offers farmers the opportunity to receive compensation for expenses related to humanitarian de-mining. Deputy Minister Ihor Bezkavainyi noted that this program aims to cleanse the land of dangerous objects so that farmers can safely resume their agricultural activities on cleared territories.
Opportunities for Farmers
'About one million hectares of agricultural land suitable for farming are located in areas where hostilities are ongoing... Now every owner or renter of such a plot can apply for land de-mining at the state's expense and work safely on their land after clearance.'
Farmers can submit applications for humanitarian de-mining through the State Agrarian Register or in person by filling out the appropriate forms. After verifying the information about landowners, government authorities will make decisions regarding compensation. This initiative will enable the restoration of agriculture in regions affected by war and will also contribute to the economic development of these territories.
This support is an important measure for farmers seeking to restore their activities after challenging times. Given the security situation in these areas, the humanitarian de-mining program will be a key factor in restoring Ukraine's agricultural potential.
