According to EastFruit, the drop in melon prices has become possible due to improved weather and early ripening of the harvest. The supply of watermelons in supermarkets has increased, but a slight rise in prices for high-quality watermelons is expected.

'Currently, watermelons are sold for 78% more than a year ago. Price increases are only expected for high-quality watermelons, the limited availability of which on the market.'

Prices for watermelons in various supermarkets in Ukraine range from 17.49 to 32.69 UAH/kg and usually do not take into account various discounts and promotional offers.

Why agricultural products are becoming more expensive
