NAZK launches the Transparency Register: how lobbying will now operate in Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAZK) announced the establishment of the Transparency Register in Ukraine. This step is made possible by the enactment of the 'On Lobbying' Law. This was reported by NAZK Head Viktor Pavlushchyk during a briefing at Ukrinform.
Now we can say that this Law has not remained just on paper. Along with it, NAZK launches a key tool for its implementation – the Transparency Register. It is already accessible
Official status of lobbyists
Pavlushchyk emphasized that previously, influence on the adoption of state decisions often occurred without official registration. Now every lobbyist is obliged to register their status. This means that you must operate transparently and honestly, as influencing state decisions related to your or commercial interests without registration is prohibited.
Benefits of lobbying
The institution of lobbying benefits all participants in the process. For businesses, it is an opportunity to influence state decisions through legal lobbying activities, ensuring transparent participation in legislative development and reducing corruption risks. The state, in turn, will be able to better consider the interests of the private sector, and society will benefit from state decisions based on broad public discussions.
The introduction of the Transparency Register and the lobbying law will be an important step towards transparent and open processes at the state level. This will strengthen the fight against corruption and provide equal opportunities for all participants.
