In Ukraine, prices for borscht vegetables have soared: what has become more expensive.
Prices for borscht vegetables changed at the beginning of February compared to January. According to the Minfin portal, young cabbage increased the most in price, its average price rose from 75.23 to 97.15 hryvnias per kilogram. White cabbage also became more expensive, its price increased from 45.83 to 50.87 hryvnias per kilogram.
The price of ordinary potatoes decreased from 34.57 to 31.65 hryvnias per kilogram, while young potatoes slightly became more expensive, from 34.17 to 34.40 hryvnias. Prices for onions showed different dynamics: the price for white onions almost did not change (86.75 hryvnias versus 86.03 hryvnias in January), yellow onions decreased from 16.75 to 15.75 hryvnias, while blue onions increased from 34.02 to 31.90 hryvnias per kilogram. The price for beets rose, the average cost per kilogram increased from 22.95 to 24.70 hryvnias.
