Ukrainian entrepreneurs who own their businesses must now send statistical reports not to the tax service, but to the State Statistics Service. This important information was shared by Mykhailo Smokovych, who is a tax consultant and runs a YouTube vlog. New mandatory reporting rules for individual entrepreneurs came into effect in July 2025. However, not all individual entrepreneurs are required to submit the statistical report. According to the expert, this requirement applies only to certain categories of entrepreneurs, specifically those involved in production or transportation. Ukrainians are advised to check the need to provide the report by visiting the State Statistics Service website and completing certain actions in their personal account. Late submission of the report may result in fines, but the likelihood of this for individual entrepreneurs is noted to be very low. According to other legislative changes, fines for entrepreneurs for violations in the use of fiscal registrars are increasing, and strict penalties for financial manipulation and document falsification will be introduced in July 2025.
