Weather forecast in Ukraine for the next few days

According to inkorr.com: Autumn coolness prevails in Ukraine. As meteorologist Ihor Kibalchych noted, even more cooling is expected in the near future due to northwestern circulation conditions bringing cold air from Scandinavia and the Baltic.

In most regions, light rain is forecasted, with moderate precipitation possible in some areas. The wind will intensify to gusts from the northwest.

Weather forecast for Sunday

On Sunday, October 12, a light rain is expected at night in the west of the country, however, during the day the weather will mostly be dry. In the evening, precipitation may occur in Polissia and the northwest. Night temperatures will range from +4 to +9 °C, during the day it will be +10...+16 °C.

The northern regions will remain under clouds without significant precipitation. The wind will be from the west and northwest, reaching speeds of up to 12 m/s. Night temperatures will be +3...+8 °C, during the day +10...+15 °C.

Climate change

The meteorologist emphasized that the cooling is part of the annual transition between seasons, but it is important to remember the global climate changes occurring at an alarming rate. Last year, the average temperature on Earth exceeded prehistorical levels by 1.5°C, and this century it could rise even by another 3°C.

'This is not the worst-case scenario, but still poses a serious threat to ecosystems and humanity,' Kibalchych warned.

Thus, cool weather, light rains, and intensified winds are expected in Ukraine in the coming days. Meteorologists also remind of the threats associated with climate change that could significantly impact the environment and daily life of people.
