In the ranking of countries by cost of living, Poland ranked 67th. The study included 139 countries and assessed prices for food, housing rentals, restaurant expenses, and the purchasing power of the population.

Data from WarsawHere showed that the ranking was compiled using a special index, with the price level in New York taken as 100%. The most expensive countries to live in turned out to be the Virgin Islands (USA), Switzerland, and Iceland.

The top ten countries with the highest cost of living also included the Bahamas (4th place), Singapore (5th), Hong Kong (6th), Barbados (7th), Norway (8th), Papua New Guinea (9th), and Denmark (10th).

Among the countries bordering Poland, Germany secured the highest position at 23rd. It was followed by Lithuania (48th), Latvia (51st), the Czech Republic (54th), and Slovakia (55th). Below in the ranking were Belarus (123rd), Ukraine (125th), and Russia (132nd).
