Vouchers for training to improve qualifications

The State Employment Service reported that this year 19825 Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the opportunity to receive training vouchers, which contribute to improving their qualifications and career prospects. Among the voucher recipients, 70% are individuals over 45 years old. In addition, 20% are internally displaced persons, 6% are people with disabilities, and 3% are combat participants.
The most vouchers for training were issued in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Among the professions that Ukrainians choose for training with vouchers, the most popular were nursing, psychology, cooking, social work, and driving. 'With the voucher, one can improve qualifications or undergo retraining in one of 156 professions and specialties at educational institutions licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The list is updated every three months on the department's website,' the Employment Service explained. Program participants can study at higher educational institutions as well as vocational and technical institutions, including eight Centers of Vocational Education that emphasize the development of practical skills, which are vital in today's labor market.
The program is funded by the State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine in case of unemployment. The training compensation amounts to 30 thousand hryvnias.
To join the program, one must contact any employment center, submit an application online on the State Employment Service website, or via the mobile app. Ukrainians actively utilize the opportunity to receive training vouchers, focusing on professions in nursing, psychology, cooking, social work, and driving. The program provides the opportunity to study at various educational institutions, improve practical skills, and receive compensation of up to 30 thousand hryvnias. The training voucher program is an important tool for supporting Ukrainians during changes in the labor market. It provides the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, which, in turn, increases the chances of a successful career. In connection with the current needs of the market, such initiatives are becoming more frequent, which indicates a growing interest in modernizing education in Ukraine.
