Teachers to Increase Supplement by Two Times: Who Will Receive 2600 Hryvnias Starting September.
According to inkorr.com: Andriy Stashko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, announced an increase in the monthly supplement for teachers across the country. Starting from the next academic year, teachers will receive double the amount for special working conditions – 2600 hryvnias before taxes.
This increase will affect about 400 thousand pedagogical workers in schools and will cover all categories of teachers, regardless of their working conditions.
'The supplement that was established for special working conditions for teachers in the amount of 1300 hryvnias is paid to each teacher monthly starting from January 1. From September 1, the supplement will rise and will amount to 2600 hryvnias,' - explained Andriy Stashko.
Who Will Receive the Increased Supplement
- all teachers;
- directors and deputies with pedagogical workload;
- teachers on part-time or with partial employment;
- educators from any region of the country.
The Ministry of Education also noted that the new supplement will be provided to all teachers in schools, regardless of their rating or performance results.
The government allocated 12 billion hryvnias for the funding of the increased supplement. This initiative covers all teachers of general education institutions, regardless of their workload and place of work.
The increase of the monthly supplement for teachers from 1300 to 2600 hryvnias before taxes is an important step that will raise the social status of teachers and contribute to their new achievements in the profession.
