Teachers will receive a bonus of 2000 hryvnias: who and how will get it.
According to inkorr.com: The new school year in Ukraine has begun with positive news for teachers - their salaries will increase. Now they will receive a monthly bonus of 2600 hryvnias before taxation, which exceeds 2000 hryvnias net. This is twice as much as before.
This salary increase will be provided to teachers thanks to a state support program for education during wartime. This additional payment will be given separately from the main salary, which will help compensate for work in difficult conditions. It should be noted that the size of these bonuses may change depending on the teachers' workload, and the program will operate until the end of the year.
Conditions for receiving: 'The amount of the allowance may vary depending on the teacher's workload. For employees with a full position, the basic amount is set at 2000 hryvnias, but for exceeding the standard workload, the amount increases proportionally.'
Salary increase for teachers
According to expert estimates, no significant changes in the base salary of teachers are expected until the end of 2025. However, the government plans a gradual salary increase over the next three years, with the ultimate goal of reaching 20,000 hryvnias per month by 2028.
This step is important for improving the working conditions of teachers in modern realities. Compared to neighboring Poland, where the requirements for receiving financial aid have been tightened, teachers in Ukraine will have the opportunity to receive significantly more additional support.
With the start of the new school year in Ukraine, teachers are promised a substantial increase in additional payments aimed at improving their working conditions and making them more dignified during wartime. At the same time, an increase in the base salary of teachers is planned by 2028, to elevate the prestige of the teaching profession and ensure better working conditions.
These changes will contribute to improving the financial situation of teachers in the face of a challenging economic situation. Bonuses and salary increases may serve as an incentive for young specialists to choose the teaching profession, as the social status of this profession is significantly rising.
