Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on the registration of Ukrainians abroad

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk reported on the results of the interdepartmental meeting dedicated to the issues of military registration of Ukrainians abroad. According to Vereshchuk, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has a week to prepare a draft resolution that will allow men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad to register for military service remotely.

'Today I held an interdepartmental working meeting on the military registration issues of our citizens abroad,' said Iryna Vereshchuk in her statement.

An important innovation is that citizens will not have to visit territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCSP) and undergo military medical commissions. Currently, this option is only available for young people aged 18 to 25. After the new resolution is adopted, this practice will be extended to all men of conscription age who are outside Ukraine.

We also remind you that Ukraine will allow the issuance of passports to men abroad.
