Compensation for Disabled Veterans for Car Redesign: Up to 70,000 Hryvnias.
According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has decided to support veterans with disabilities who have modified their vehicles. They will receive a monetary compensation of up to 70,000 Hryvnias for actual expenses.
Compensation from 2026
From 2026, veterans will be able to receive compensation based on the actual expenses incurred in modifying their vehicles. To receive these funds, they will need to apply to the relevant authorities with a request and necessary documents.
'Creating a barrier-free environment for veterans with disabilities is a testament to our respect for their contribution to the country's defense. It means access to transport, education, medicine, and employment without any obstacles.'
This initiative is part of the implementation of the strategy to create a barrier-free space in Ukraine, aimed at improving the living conditions of veterans.
Support for disabled veterans, notably through the provision of compensation for vehicle modifications, demonstrates the government's increasing attention to the needs of this important category of citizens. The new approach is planned to be implemented within the context of a broader program, helping veterans adapt to everyday life and ensuring them equal opportunities in society.
