Power outage: how schedules will operate on October 5.
Ukrenergo reported that tomorrow, October 5, there will be no restrictions on electricity consumption. However, energy experts advise using powerful electrical appliances during daylight hours, from 10:00 to 16:00.
Today, October 4, there are also no expected restrictions on electricity consumption.
The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission predicts that this winter, Ukrainians will face power outages lasting from four to 18 hours a day.
According to officials, there will be no energy supply problems by the end of October and in November, and they hope that this winter will have minimal outages, as was the case last year.
After the cancellation of hourly outage schedules, the level of electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased.
The State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development plans to build a third level of passive protection at NEC "Ukrenergo" substations. However, international partners do not find it advisable to fund such an expensive project until the technology is tested. Previously, the head of "Ukrenergo", Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, stated that Ukrainian energy facilities will receive three levels of protection against Russian attacks.
In addition, the European Commission is working on increasing the volume of electricity supply to Ukraine. The G7 countries and other partners have raised over $4 billion to restore the country's energy infrastructure.
