"A new page of the war has been opened": Zelensky addressed the US and China regarding North Korean military.

Statement by the President of Ukraine on the presence of the North Korean contingent in Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is outraged that the international community is responding weakly to the presence of the North Korean contingent in Russia. He announced this on his social networks on October 30, 2024.

"The voice of the USA, the voice of NATO, the voice of Western partners, the voice of the Global South, and China does not sound as loud as it should now regarding the presence of the North Korean contingent on the territory of Russia", - Zelensky emphasized.

The President stressed that the situation is dangerous and this "opens a new page of this war". He warned that weak international response could lead to an increase in the number of North Korean and possibly Iranian military personnel in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The President also conducted an interview with representatives of leading media outlets from Northern European countries, where they discussed issues of range for Ukraine, timeliness of deliveries from partners, the near future, the Victory Plan, and peaceful negotiations.

Let us recall that US intelligence reported that North Korean military personnel began operations in Ukraine.
