Instructors who previously trained on NATO ranges believe that Ukrainian training centers provide better preparation. This was reported by the 151st training center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as noted by 'Glavkom'.

The head of the teaching and instructional group of the training center, Roman Donik, claims that training abroad is safe because there is a base available. However, none of the instructors have participated in a war like the Ukrainian military has.

They have an overabundance of tolerance there: Western instructors don’t tell anyone that they are learning poorly, their grading system is either good or very good. In any case, you are taught by someone who lives abroad, in a peaceful prosperous country, with a completely different mindset, emotional state, and feeling. Here, you are taught by a person who has actually fought for two years. In front of the cadets stands a living person who has gone through battles, has not died, has remained motivated. This is very important.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, decided to strengthen the training of mobilized troops, so starting from November, their training in all training centers will last for one and a half months. Previously, the basic military training was conducted over 30 days.

From November 1, 2024, the training of mobilized troops in training centers will be intensified: it will last one and a half months instead of one, the number of hours of fire training will increase, and new training directions will be updated, such as combat operations under the work of enemy drones, and more. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Doctrines and Preparation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Main Directorate of Doctrines and Preparation of the General Staff hopes for the support of Western partners in fully providing Ukrainian centers with training materials, simulators, and weapon samples for training. Some mobilized individuals will have the opportunity to undergo a basic military training course at NATO ranges. According to the General Staff, this year about 20 thousand mobilized individuals have been trained in NATO countries, and in total, since the beginning of the war, over 120 thousand.
