Immediately by 60 UAH: supermarkets sharply changed prices for cucumbers and tomatoes in January.
In supermarkets, vegetable prices changed at the beginning of January, as reported by the Minfin portal.
During the New Year holidays, when vegetables are particularly popular, prices for cucumbers and tomatoes showed different dynamics compared to December 2024.
Overall, cucumbers have become more expensive. Regular cucumbers increased in price from 115.69 to 119.90 UAH per kilogram, while smooth cucumbers rose from 165.90 to 171.20 UAH per kilogram. Long cucumbers decreased in price, falling from 148.32 to 84.50 UAH per kilogram. Short cucumbers became more expensive from 111.61 to 113.90 UAH per kilogram.
As for tomatoes, red tomatoes slightly decreased in price, from 122.36 to 113.25 UAH per kilogram. For pink tomatoes, you will have to pay more - the price increased from 144.38 to 179.90 UAH per kilogram. The price of plum tomatoes practically did not change, increasing from 153.16 to 153.25 UAH per kilogram.
Prices for citrus fruits have also changed in the new year.
