Military personnel have less than a week to return to service: details of the procedure.
According to inkorr.com: The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has provided clarification regarding the process of returning to service for service members who served in the Special Armed Forces (SAF) before May 10, 2025. There is less than a week left until the deadline for this category of individuals.
Procedure for Returning to Service
- First, it is necessary to submit a report for return through the 'Army+' program and include a recommendation letter from the unit ready to accept you.
- After the report is approved, proceed to the nearest military service point, and then to the reserve battalion.
- The commander of the battalion must restore payments and social guarantees within 72 hours of arrival.
It is also necessary to submit a report for changing the place of service with the reason 'Returning to service after SAF', attaching a recommendation letter, military document of current position, and a certificate of participation in SAF.
The last date for returning to service is August 30, 2025. There is less than a week left until this date.
Note that, Ukraine plans to update the rules for traveling abroad for men.
