Women doctors and pharmacists are automatically registered for military service: what has changed

Ukrainian women with medical and pharmaceutical education are automatically registered for military service. The new military registration rules have been in effect since July 31.

This was reported by Kateryna Hevel, a representative of the Kirovohrad regional territorial center for recruitment and social support.

Procedure for submitting women doctors to the TCC

According to the new rules, educational institutions must send a list of female medical or pharmaceutical graduates to the TCC and social support within seven days after graduation. Women must also undergo a medical examination and enter the relevant data into the database.

Now, women with medical and pharmaceutical education are automatically registered in the Unified State Register of Conscripts. They must personally contact the TCC within 60 days after graduation to undergo a medical examination.

'Information about women with medical education will be automatically added to the register, but they themselves must come to the TCC and social support for a medical examination,' explained the representative.

In case of non-attendance, a fine of 17 to 25.5 thousand hryvnias is expected.

Going abroad

Women can travel abroad even being in military registration.

We remind you that earlier we wrote about who must register for military service immediately to avoid fines.

We also reported on the deadline for conscripts to register with the TCC.

Ukrainian women with medical and pharmaceutical education are now automatically registered for military service. Educational institutions are required to send lists of female medical graduates to the TCC and social support, where women will need to undergo a medical examination. Automatic registration in the Unified State Register of Conscripts will help avoid fines if women timely contact the military medical commission.
