Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation together with the military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine announced charges against a senior sergeant of one of the military units in Poltava region. According to the SBI, she illegally traveled abroad for vacation instead of performing her service.

According to inkorr.com: According to information from the SBI, from 2022 to 2024, the woman left her military unit eight times, visited resorts in Montenegro and Poland, while continuing to receive her military salary. This resulted in unjustified expenses from the state budget exceeding 190,000 hryvnias.

The woman is suspected of evading service and fraud, which could threaten her with imprisonment for up to ten years.
