Payments to the Armed Forces — amounts for conscripts in July.

Ukrainian servicemen, including conscripts, receive a monthly salary from the state, which consists of a basic rate and additional payments depending on certain indicators.

Basic rate for conscripts

Conscripts receive the main part of their salary according to the salary scale, allowances for rank and length of service. The minimum basic rate for a conscript is 20,130 hryvnias.

Additional payments in July

The legislation provides that conscripts and other servicemen may receive additional payments for performing combat missions. For example:

• 100,000 UAH - for those participating in combat operations on the front line;
• 70,000 UAH - for those on the front line, for every 30 days;
• 50,000 UAH - for service in military management bodies;
• 30,000 UAH - for performing special tasks.

In addition, military personnel receive various compensations and assistance in solving social issues.

Compensation for unused leave

According to the new law, soldiers and other defenders will have the right to monetary compensation for unused days of leave upon discharge from service, aimed at protecting their rights to rest and compensation.

In general, servicemen in Ukraine have the right to a basic salary with the possibility of receiving additional payments for fulfilling their official duties and compensation for unused leave.
