The government allocated 50 million for new centers: which professions will be taught.
The Cabinet of Ministers allocated 50 million hryvnias for the creation of 25 centers that will teach various professions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science.
'Creating educational and practical centers is an investment in the quality of training skilled workers that will meet employers' needs for highly qualified employees,' noted Pavlo Khobzei, Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
The centers will be established on the basis of vocational and technical educational institutions in various regions of the country. The government has already allocated 50 million hryvnias for this purpose. The allocated funds will be used to purchase modern equipment for the workshops of the educational centers, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, representatives of employers, and vocational and technical educational institutions.
Decrease in unemployment in Ukraine
In September, Ukraine observed a decrease in the official unemployment rate. However, in August, nearly half a million Ukrainians were reported to have lost their jobs.
The creation of educational and practical centers is an important step in preparing highly qualified workers. Further reduction of unemployment may contribute to balancing the labor market and providing new opportunities for the employment of Ukrainians.
