Putin gifted a resident of Alaska a new motorcycle worth £16,000

According to The Sun: 66-year-old Mark Warren was given a motorcycle after a video of his complaint about not being able to repair his Soviet motorcycle went viral in Russian media.

The pensioner, who worked as a fire inspector, residing in Anchorage where the US and Russian leaders met last week, rode out on a new Ural Gear Up motorcycle with a sidecar.

The production company Ural, a motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1941 in western Siberia when it was part of the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, now operates in Kazakhstan.

Warren complained that he couldn't get the right parts to repair his motorcycle due to supply issues and sanctions against Russia.
He said: 'It went viral, all one hell, and I don't understand why, as I'm really just an ordinary guy.'

New motorcycle worth £16,000

Warren was told that his new motorcycle worth £16,000 is located at the same base where world leaders met.

After arriving with his wife at a hotel in Anchorage, he met six Russian men who gifted him this extraordinary present.

Warren said: 'I opened my mouth. I was silent, 'You're kidding.'
