At night Russia attacked Ukraine with 'Shaheds': how many drones were shot down by air defense.
The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 57 Russian strike drones. This information was provided by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy attack began on the night of October 23, 2024, at 22:00. Russian UAVs 'Shahed' and unidentified drones attacked from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk. In addition, the Odesa region was shelled by a guided missile Kh-31P from the Black Sea.
The operational forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of 57 enemy UAVs in various regions: Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.
Also, the location of 15 Russian drones was lost, and nine more of them are being observed in Ukrainian airspace.
Reminder
Last night, the presence of UAVs was recorded in the airspace of the Kyiv region. Air defense is working on their destruction. Local residents were urged to maintain informational silence and not disclose information about the work of Ukrainian defenders online.
