The volleyball player of the Polish team 'Warta' Yuriy Hladir stated that he and his brother could not come to their mother's funeral due to travel restrictions from Ukraine. According to him, he learned of his mother's death while he was in Milan with his brother, and this news deeply upset them. The volleyball player noted that if they had gone to the funeral, they would not have been able to return to Ukraine.

Hladir also expressed his views on the situation in Eastern Ukraine. He emphasized that the situation is indeed terrible, but it is not conveyed through the mass media. The volleyball player mentioned that he does not want to speak much about it since he considers it a politically complex issue.
