Consequences of the night attack on 'Centrenergo' power plants
As a result of the night Russian attack, all thermal power plants of 'Centrenergo' temporarily halted their operations. This attack was the largest among all that have occurred during the war, inflicting numerous armed strikes.The press service of PJSC 'Centrenergo' reported damage to the stations and significant losses, whose recovery in the current conditions looks extremely difficult.The state energy sector of Ukraine has suffered serious losses due to this aggression. Currently, the company is unable to produce electricity. Although recovery after these strikes will be challenging, 'Centrenergo' plans to work on restoration and improvement of generation to meet the energy needs of Ukrainians in the near future.The Ukrainian energy system is going through tough times, and the restoration of 'Centrenergo' is an important step to ensure the stability of electricity supply in the country.
