Former Russian national team footballer Andrey Karyaka has been added to the database of the 'Peacemaker' website.
It is noted that he is accused of aiding the crimes of the Russian authorities against Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens.
On August 18, 2024, Karyaka participated in the governor's cup of the Ulyanovsk region 'We do not abandon our own' in the city of Ulyanovsk. During this propaganda event, athletes gifted presents to the Russian occupiers and their families.
Andrey Karyaka was born on April 1, 1978, in Dnipro.
He made his professional football debut in 1996, playing for Zaporizhzhia's 'Metallurg'. Over two seasons, he played in 41 championship matches. From 1998 to 2000, he played for Kyiv's CSKA. He then played in the championships of Russia and Portugal.
On May 24, 2001, Karyaka received an invitation to the Ukraine national team, but he chose to play for the Russian national team. He was called up to the national team and made his debut on August 16, 2001, in a match against Greece.
As part of the Russian national team, Karyaka participated in the 2004 European Championship in Portugal. He played in all three matches for the RF national team.
Overall, he played 27 matches for the national team and scored 6 goals.
Former Russian national football team player Alexey Bugayev was eliminated by Ukrainian defenders. He was 43 years old.
Bugayev started his professional career in 2001 at the club 'Torpedo' and finished it in 2010. He played 7 matches for the Russian national team, including participation in Euro-2004.
In 2005, he won the Russian Super Cup with 'Lokomotiv'.
In September last year, Bugayev was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison for attempted drug trafficking.
Also, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated the occupier Nikita Pechonkin, who was engaged in basketball.
Pechonkin was born and raised in Kamensk-Uralsky. He played for the 'RUMB' team and was a champion and cup holder of the city of Kamensk-Uralsky in men's basketball.
Nikita served in the anti-aircraft division and held the rank of lieutenant. According to Russian propaganda, he was awarded state honors for his participation in the war.
Pechonkin was eliminated overnight from November 23 to 24, 2024, and the farewell took place on January 11, 2025.
