This information was disclosed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total losses of Russia
Estimated combat losses of Russia in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to December 30, 2025, are as follows:
personnel — about 1,206,910 (+1,220) individuals,
tanks — 11,477 (+5) units.

artillery systems — 35,589 (+19) units.
rocket artillery systems — 1,582 (+1) units.
air defense systems — 1,264 (+0) units.

tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles — 96,932 (+400) units.
cruise missiles — 4,136 (+0) units.
ships and boats — 28 (+0) units.

We remind you that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, noted that despite Russia's mobilization of 406,000 individuals, the number of enemy troops in Ukraine over the last six months remained at the level of 710-711 thousand. This indicates that the losses, which amount to 1,000-1,100 individuals daily, significantly exceed the number of new recruits in the Russian army. The general emphasized that the aggressor suffers six times more casualties than Ukraine.
These data indicate that despite Russia's attempts to replenish its losses, the situation at the front remains critical for its army. High combat losses raise serious questions about the ability to sustain the troops at a sufficient level to continue the conflict. Ukrainian forces, in turn, continue to strengthen their positions and inflict damage on the enemy.
