As of the morning of Sunday, March 23, 2025, Russia has suffered significant losses in the Ukrainian war - reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia's losses as of March 23, 2025
According to the updated data, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses:
- approximately 903480 (+1470) personnel,
- 10412 (+9) tanks,
- 21636 (+27) armored combat vehicles,
- 25048 (+104) artillery systems,
- 1333 (+6) multiple launch rocket systems,
- 1116 (+5) air defense systems,
- 370 (+0) aircraft,
- 331 (+0) helicopters,
- 30495 (+157) tactical operational drones,
- 3121 (+0) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships/boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 41610 (+185) vehicles and fuel tank trucks,
- 3784 (+2) special equipment.
Activity of the Russian fleet as of March 23
- In the Black Sea, there are three enemy ships carrying 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total strike capacity of up to 12 missiles;
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, four enemy ships have been registered, three of which also carry 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with a total strike capacity of up to 26 missiles.
During the day in the Kerch Strait, the Russian Federation used:
- One vessel that went into the Black Sea but did not proceed towards the Bosporus Strait;
- Seven vessels, five of which continued their route to the Sea of Azov from the Bosporus Strait.
Overall, the full-scale war in Ukraine has now entered its 1124th day.
