According to The Sun: ARYNA SABALENKA almost found herself in an uncomfortable situation when she angrily hit her racket.
The world number one was trying to win the Wuhan Open for the fourth time after previously winning in 2018, 2019, and 2024.

In the first set, everything was going well for Sabalenka, who won the first set 6-2.
But American Pegula did not break and won the second set 6-4.
In the deciding set, the 31-year-old athlete initially trailed 2-5 but managed to equalize the game and advance to the final, where she will meet Coco Gauff.
In the 11th game of the decisive set, Sabalenka could no longer hold back her emotions - her shot went off the court, causing confusion.
The disappointed Belarusian threw her racket, which bounced against the bench and sprang back onto the court while she was trailing 5-6.
Fortunately, neither the ball boy nor the cameraman were hurt, which would have resulted in a disqualification. Sabalenka immediately apologized.
“The racket flew, who did it hit?” - commented the Sky Sports commentator on the incident.
“This is dangerous territory for Sabalenka, the semifinal developed incredible energy in the last 10-15 minutes.”
“Sabalenka received a warning for racket abuse, but she was lucky that it did not lead to more serious consequences.”
The match went to a tiebreak, where Pegula won 7-6 (7-2).
“For what I did in the tiebreak, I really feel ashamed,” - Pegula admitted after the match.
“I have played a lot of tennis in the last few weeks, many three-set matches, but I feel very strong now and am trying to use it.
