Wayne Rooney on Manchester United's defeat: It's very hard to watch.
Wayne Rooney on the lack of success for Manchester United
According to The Sun: Wayne Rooney expressed his thoughts on Manchester United's problems after the team's defeat to Manchester City with a score of 3-0. At 39 years old, he feels discomfort speaking about the club with which he has strong ties.
PAThe former team captain, watching the match with South Korea, noted that it is hard for him to evaluate the performances as his son Kai plays in United's academy. In a new episode of his podcast on BBC, Rooney emphasized the need to be honest about the team's play, despite the emotional connection.
“I spoke with Rio about this yesterday, we want to support the team, but also be honest, as the fans are not blind,” Rooney said.
He stressed that the team's form leaves much to be desired and that performance is becoming critical.
“Unfortunately, for Manchester United it has been almost a year now, and that's about one point per game. This form has led to relegation in many seasons of the Premier League,” Rooney added.

Ruben Amorim does not plan to change his philosophy
Despite the threat of criticism, manager Ruben Amorim stated that he has no intention of changing his football strategy.
“I am not going to change. If I want to change my philosophy, I will do it. If not, then it’s worth changing the person,” Amorim emphasized.
He added that currently the team is in 14th place in the Premier League table, reflecting a challenging period for the club.
The situation at Manchester United raises concerns among fans as the team continues to struggle for better results. Whether they will find a way to success or whether Amorim's strategy will yield results remains a question for the near future. Meanwhile, Rooney emphasized that it is important to be realistic and speak openly about the problems in order to solve them.
