Wetherspoons is bringing back two favorite dishes: what has appeared on the menu.
Popular dishes returning to Wetherspoons menu
According to The Sun: Two favorite dishes have made a comeback to the Wetherspoons menu, including the 'elite' breakfast.
Food fans have already expressed their delight at the return of both dishes, which are now available for order across the chain.

The avocado pancake has returned to the breakfast menu and has already won the love of customers. One visitor even called it the “breakfast of champions.”
The pancake was reintroduced on October 1 and costs £2.99. It is served with guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and arugula, with the option to add bacon or a poached egg.
The price includes a free cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate that can be refilled unlimitedly.
“This dish is absolutely elite,” users noted on X.
“Has anyone tried the avocado pancake at Wetherspoon? It’s really delicious. Pico de Gallo adds so much flavor. I will be ordering it again.”
New chicken burger
Another popular dish making a return is the chicken fillet burger. Both dishes have come back after a temporary removal from the menu in May this year.
The new burger is served with salad and costs £8.19 with a soft drink or £9.72 with an alcoholic drink.
Furthermore, the menu has added a new Korean-style chicken fillet noodle dish with coconut rice for £8.99, which is a healthy alternative to popular fried chicken dishes.
Expansion of Wetherspoons
This announcement comes after the chain announced the opening of 15 new pubs that will start operating next month. People in cities like Lincoln, Bristol, and Cramlington will be getting a new pub.
The openings have been made possible due to a new franchising deal with the Papas group. Michael Barron, the commercial director of Wetherspoon, stated:
“We are pleased to sign agreements with the Papas group. We are exploring further opportunities and are confident that more franchising agreements will be signed.”
What else has returned at McDonald's
Wetherspoons is not the only chain that has recently brought back popular dishes. Earlier this month, The Sun reported that McDonald's has reintroduced its popular item - honeycomb latte, available only in the fall. The price is £2.89, and the cocktail features a delicate flavor with honey syrup, aromatic cream, and real pieces of honeycomb.
Also back are the popular Mozzarella Dippers and Philly Cheese Stack.
Thus, Wetherspoons and McDonald's are actively responding to customer requests by bringing back favorite dishes, which demonstrates their commitment to satisfying consumer tastes. Such initiatives undoubtedly create a positive image for both chains as customer feedback indicates what they have been missing. This approach may also stimulate interest in new features on the menu, which will undoubtedly impact the popularity of the establishments.
