Scandal at the US Open: Tennis Player Seeks Boy from Whom Hat Was Taken.
Outrage at US Open Over Fan's Actions
According to The Sun: At the US Open, a scandal erupted when a fan unexpectedly snatched a hat from a young boy.
Polish tennis player Kamil Majchrzak won against the ninth seed Karen Khachanov after five exhausting sets.
X XDuring the celebration on court 11 at Flushing Meadows, he was signing balls for his fans.
Among them was a young boy with light hair who received a signature from Majchrzak on a large yellow ball.
As the world number 76 continued to sign memorabilia, the boy apparently asked him for his hat as a keepsake.
Majchrzak, 29, gladly agreed and took off his hat to give it to the fan.
But as the tennis player turned away, a man standing next to the child horrifically grabbed the hat.
The boy was stunned, not believing his eyes, and begged the man to return the hat, looking bewildered.
“What are you doing?”
However, the brazen uncle ignored the child's request and grinned as he hid the hat in his partner's bag.
He also gave the boy a marker that Majchrzak had used, which only saddened him more.
The child was clearly disappointed and tried to convince the tennis player to give him something else, but Majchrzak had already left, unaware of the incident.

“What a horrible man who took it right from a child's hands.”
“This is a true disgrace. I hope @usopen reviews this video and bans his entry to the stadium.”
Fortunately, the video reached Majchrzak, who commented on the situation on his Instagram.
Sharing a few snapshots from the video, he wrote:
“After the match, I did not realize that my hat had not made it to the boy.”
“Thank you @asicstennis, I have enough hats, so I am ready for this.”
“Hi guys, can you help me find the boy from my game @usopen @eurosportpl?”
