An alternative to the shopping frenzy at Aldi: where to find wooden toys at promotional prices.
According to The Sun: If you missed the wooden toy sale at Aldi, you need not be sad: there are many other stores where you can find great offers.
Parents actively participated in the annual toy sale at supermarkets, where some even 'fought' for the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts for their little ones.
House of FraserAldi had to introduce purchase limits — two items per person — and establish a queue system based on tickets to organize the crowd.
Now some wooden toys have appeared on resale platforms like Vinted and eBay, at prices double or even triple the original.
For example, the modern wooden kitchen at Aldi costs £34.99, but on Vinted it is priced at even £70.
Another seller offers a wooden birthday cake for £10, while at Aldi it costs only £4.99.
However, it’s not worth spending large amounts, as other stores still offer great deals on wooden toys.
Lidl
LidlConsidering possible chaos, Lidl also organized a sale of wooden toys, and customers noted that it was significantly quieter at Lidl supermarkets, and stock was sufficient even late in the afternoon.
Prices start from £1.79, and Lidl Plus members can receive an additional discount of up to 20%.
Available products include the Lupilu vanity set for £39.99 (or £31.99 for Lidl Plus members) and the Lupilu dinosaur set for £14.99 (or £13.49 for loyal customers).

The Frasers department store chain is running a sale of wooden toys, with over 100 products available.
The cheapest product is a wooden kinetic puzzle for £3.99.
Some of the toys are very similar to those found at Aldi. For instance, a wooden kitchen, similar to the modern kitchen at Aldi, currently costs £24.99, reduced from £49.99.
The Tooky Toy wooden garage can be purchased for £24.99, down from £49.99.
A Tooky Toy wooden makeup table with a stool is also available, priced at £34.99, significantly reduced from the original price of £69.99.
Sainsbury's

Parents also find great deals at Sainsbury's. One customer shared in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group that they bought the Chad Valley toy sewing machine for just £3.75.
'There were also many other wooden toy options,' they added.
Another customer noted: 'They now have a ton of toys on sale! I just bought monster trucks for £2.20, a princess for £3, and a Spiderman radio phone for £2.50!'
It’s worth checking for offers at your local supermarket, as discounts may vary.
On the website, a set of Chad Valley wooden cars is offered for only £3.50 each, including an ambulance, fire truck, police, helicopter, bus, and boat.
There is also a Chad Valley wooden train for £12, which includes track pieces, a plastic bridge, vehicles, buildings, people, shrubs, trees, signals, road signs, and blocks.

The cheapest option is a wooden threading game for £3.99.
The Tooky Toy wooden coffee maker set costs £12.99, down from £24.99.
A wooden fryer is also available for £16.99, reduced from £32.99.
Or a wooden waffle maker, with a price drop from £19.99 to £9.99.
Other stores with toy sales
If you’re interested in more than just wooden toys, many other retailers are also holding sales.
Morrisons is offering discounts of up to 50% on popular brands like Barbie, LEGO, Hot Wheels, Mario Kart, and Bluey. This sale will last until October 26th and is only available to More Card participants.
The Tesco toy sale started on September 16 and will run until November 2. Discounts of up to 50% are available on dolls, board games, and LEGO sets. To take advantage of these great offers, a Tesco Clubcard will be needed.
With so many offers, parents can find wonderful options for their children for the winter. Discounts will not only help save money but also delight the little ones with new toys for the holidays.
